Link is the main protagonist in the Legend of Zelda franchise, as well as a minor NPC in the Insane Quest of Unfathomable Randomness.

All of Link's attributes from The Legend of Zelda are present in The Insane Quest; however in the roleplay he is given the ability to talk, whereas in the games he is mute. strangely, in the roleplay Link comes in different forms; 8-Bit, Cel-shaded, and Hero of Time Link have all been seen.
Shigeru Miyamoto seems to be able to summon Link at will using his Wiimote, as evidenced in the battle with Chibi.

For some reason, Link (as an adult) is present in one of Luna's flashback; he saves Luna and Sola from a possible hostile member of Smoosh. he was apparently ordered by Princess Zelda to protect the Royal Family on Luna's Homeworld.
It should be noted that, due to the complicated timeline of the Legend of Zelda games, the Link that was summoned during the fight with Chibi might be a different Link than the one in Luna's flashback.
