Japan (日本 Nihon or Nippon) is a flat world located in The Universe. The first world that Smoosh visited, Japan is based off of both real-life Japan and the living embodiments of it popular culture.
Rich in culture and history, Japan is among the most famous of the 69 Worlds and is the originator of the widespread Japanese language.
Geography[]
The world of Japan in a flatworld (otherwise known as a discworld), which at it's basic is a floating bowl of ocean water. Within this bowl, surrounded by the water, are the four islands of Honshu, Hokkaido, Shikoku, and Kyushu, among thousands of other small islands. Japan is full of mountain terrain and sprawling, futuristic urbanization.

- Unless you count Luna's socks, Smoosh did not find any of the items on Nintendoki's List in Japan.
- For this reason, Nintendoki has stated that Smoosh will eventually have to return to Japan to find a list item.
